Why can’t I get on most of the games I used to play on the web without using active x?
I used to be able to play mahjong solitaire, jewel quest, pyramids on the web and now it ask to click on Active x control to be able to play these games. Why is this happening when I never had this before and was able to get on any of the games without it?

They update the software to work with later versions of Active X. As a result, you have to update your Active X to run the software. I’m sure you used Active X before, but had a compatible version. Now you don’t. Just go to Windows Update and upgrade. It’s no big deal.
Yahoo has recently added live advertising to its game pages.
Presumably this uses ActiveX.
It is annoying but I suppose they have to make a buck to keep games.yahoo.com in business.
